Description
This is another example of a pair of display shoji. The kumiko pattern is a variation of a typical form and is therefore called "kawari-gumi". The term "kawari" with respect to shoji means a variation. This pair of shoji, on a basic structural level, is called a "mizugoshi-shoji" which comprise simply a frame and kumiko assembly.
